The Regional Transportation Training Center at Georgia Piedmont Technical College was developed to support workforce training in high-demand transportation fields, including commercial truck driving, logistics, and distribution. Designed by PRAXIS3, the project strengthens the College’s ability to deliver industry-aligned education while responding to growing regional workforce needs. The project includes an approximately 18,000-square-foot new facility and the renovation of an existing 4,000-square-foot building. The new facility replaces outdated modular instructional space, providing modern, purpose-built environments that support program expansion and evolving training technologies. The renovation complements the new construction, enhancing existing space to better serve instructional and operational needs. Together, the improvements create a cohesive, future-ready campus asset that advances workforce development, improves the student learning experience, and positions the College to meet long-term demands within the transportation and logistics sector.
